Ford is taking a step toward digital investing in its explorer vehicle.
The Ford Explorer, a Ford brand that launched in 1996, will become the first digital vehicle to provide financial and investing insights, according to the automaker’s website.
Ford is also unveiling its digital portfolio at the North American International Auto Show, which is scheduled to take place July 24-26 in Detroit.
Ford has invested in the company for more than 30 years, but the Explorer was the first of Ford’s new line of digital vehicles to launch, according.
Ford has invested about $4 billion into the Explorer over the years, and it is expected to continue to invest in digital investments through the next phase of its investment in Ford.
Ford Explorer will be available in the U.S. on Ford’s website and at select dealerships, and Ford will begin shipping it in September.
