News.co.nz It’s the most-read news story of the night, with an average of 3.6 million unique visitors each day.
But not everyone is convinced that the newscast is the best of the best.
“I think there’s too much of a focus on the big events that are happening at the moment,” a reader from the west coast told News.net.au.
She said she’d been looking forward to hearing the new story from the news team for a while.
“It’s not all about the big news.”
The ABC and SBS have been trying to get the scoop.
The ABC is also trying to keep the audience informed, with a new daily newsletter.
And there is the SBS News Online service, which allows users to follow the breaking stories from across the ABC’s digital platforms.
But many people feel that these services aren’t really up to the job.
The most-used news source for the day was The Courier Mail.
It’s a relatively small site, with around 1.6m unique visitors.
The Courier Mail had the most hits and shares, followed by The Sydney Morning Herald, The Daily Telegraph, The Age, The Sunday Age, National, The Australian and the ABC.
